Job description, responsibilities and duties

* Define and implement sourcing strategies to improve customer cost savings year over year and increase company´s gross margin.
* Manage overall customer satisfaction according to evolving standards for commodities and suppliers under identified responsibilities.
* Recommend and implement process improvement initiatives.
* Perform business planning consistent with customers’ needs and company’s overall strategic ROI objectives.
* Demonstrate positive leadership and management strategies consistent with internal standards.
* Review employee performance, training and salary requirements.
* Assist in preparation of proposals, negotiations and design of new product and service offerings as required.
* Develop and support business plan objectives aligned with the corporate objectives as they pertain to company´s Strategic Sourcing responsibilities.
* Responsible to maintain and support Company standards and requirements as specified in the Quality Management System.

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and German - Intermediate (B1)

Microsoft Excel - Advanced
Microsoft PowerPoint - Advanced

Personality requirements and skills

* Experiences with similar purchasing position – at least 8 years.
* Substantial knowledge of purchasing practices and standard purchasing systems.
* Understanding of the European marketplace for MRO suppliers.
* Capable of conducting successful price and term negotiations with suppliers.
* Demonstrate strong skills in project management, verbal and written communications, problem-solving, time management and meeting strict deadlines.
* Strategic planning and implementation experience.
* Ability to speak English, Slovak and German.
* Proficient with personal and laptop computers and standard office software.
