Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
* Ensuring that all staff are aware of and work to the ISO 9001 Quality standards and managing work load amongst team
* Maintaining and development of local working instructions
* Measuring of essential KPIs (speed of order entry, accuracy & issue resolution) at organizational and individual level
* Driving correct use of INCOTERMS, freight charges, minimum order charges and emergency freight charges
* Ensuring compliance with pricing and approval policies and drive mechanics of regular price rises
* Management of backlog
* Running talent management and ensuring all direct reports have Personal Development Plans (PDP), job descriptions (JD), objectives and a development and training plan
* Hiring new staff in accordance with local Human Resource (HR) rules
* Ensuring that all orders/quotations and customers queries are resolved quickly and to the satisfaction of the customer to promote quality issues and customer service generally
* Liaising with supply chain, manufacturing plants, shipping and accounts departments as necessary
* Running of regular (weekly) stand-up meetings, monthly team meetings and attend business meetings as agreed by Senior Management
* Managing contracts and agreements
