Job description, responsibilities and duties

* Leading of complex infrastructure projects in all technical aspects during tender- and execution phase
* Coordination of calculation, planning and scheduling during the tendering stage
* Prepare method statements and works procedures for technically complex projects
* Taking responsibility and preparing of cost estimation during tender preparation
* Independent execution of projects in cooperation with our technical departments
* Analyse and optimize construction process, scheduling and costing-based valuation to identify potential savings
* Anticipate events and risks, propose various counter-strategies and solutions for technical and commercial optimization
* Develop and implement quality control programs
* Lead and coach the team to ensure an high standard of departmental and customer service
* Responsibility for budgets, ongoing monitoring of costs and optimizing profit
* Point of Contact for Employer, authorities, partners and subcontractors

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

AutoCAD - Advanced

Driving licence

Personality requirements and skills

* Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Traffic Engineering) with at least 10 years of relevant (inter-) national
* experience, thereof 5 years in project management positions
* Expert knowledge of construction methods and activities regarding infrastructure projects (road, rail, concrete structures)
* knowledge of international contract schemes (FIDIC)
* Excellent command of written and spoken English or German
* Strong management and leadership skills and ability to work in a highly competitive market with extremely challenging
* targets and timelines.
* Flexibility regarding the place of work
* Strong interest to work in intercultural environment and teamleadership
