Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

* Is responsible for supervision of the accounting
* Verifies completeness and accuracy of bookkeeping
* Responsibility for bookkeeping of some legal entities
* Provides accurate analysis of reconciliation records to third party documents
* Prepare financial reports concerning operation procedures
* Inspects items in books of original entry to determine if accepted accounting procedures were
* followed
* Verifies journal and ledger entries of cash and payments, purchases, expenses, and trial balances by
* examining and auditing inventory items
* Supervise, support and co-ordinate activities of accountants in the day-to-day maintenance of
* account books and in the preparing of standard reports and statements
* Assists in communication with Dutch and Slovak tax authorities, tax specialists and auditors
* Supervises statutory audit
* Cooperation with colleagues in CEE region

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Double-entry bookkeeping - Expert
Microsoft Excel - Advanced
Microsoft Word - Advanced
Microsoft PowerPoint - Advanced
SAP - Basic

Personality requirements and skills

* Supervises less experienced colleagues (group of accountants).
* Works independently, only occasionally requires supervision. Solves difficult situations using own
* judgement and initiative.
* Sound knowledge of accounting. At least three years experience in a position of chief accountant in
* accounting.
* Fluent English
* Good communication
* Team player
