Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
* Creates and implements strategies of marketing and trade marketing and product category development in accordance with the marketing plan for the Slovakian market, brand strategy and individual brand activities in order to develop categories and position the brands in different sales channels, and brings them in line with the sales plan.
* Responsible for the implementation of brand strategies at sales outlets, for promotions and events, presentations of new products, creation and proposal of POS materials, as well as the planning and execution of activities related to product categories and brands defined in the marketing plan.
* Responsible for the allocation and expenditures of the marketing budget for Slovakia, and reports on its implementation on a monthly basis.
* Monitors the sales results and proposes activities for the improvement of sales, and reports on such improvement.
* Cooperates closely with the sales department and monitors day-to-day sales and brand activities, plans and controls product category sales on a monthly and quarterly basis according to different sales channels. Monitors the status of product supplies in stock and co-ordinates them with the sales plans.
* Actively participates in the creation of the marketing plan and sales plan, and proposes strategies aimed at increasing the sales and income/profit by developing the existing and new sales channels, and by tailoring the range of products to individual customers in cooperation with the sales department.
* Develops the product range positioning strategy and sales space control for optimisation and efficiency purposes, proposes and creates pricing and promotional activities, and monitors their efficiency.
* Creates and proposes POS and POP materials for individual brands, tailored and developed according to specific sales channels and markets, and cooperates with the local suppliers.
* Drafts sales reports according to sales channels.
* Cooperates with the person responsible for key accounts, and proposes activities aimed at key accounts.
* Proposes and controls the marketing budget for the Slovakian market with emphasis on trade marketing, and drafts reports on this on a regular basis.
* Monitors the development of the market, competition activity, relations between key accounts, and proposes and develops promotions, new products, packaging and tastings based on that information.
* Proposes the optimal range of products tailored to the customers’ needs with an increase in the income and profit of the company’s brands, along with continuous merchandising activities subject to organisation and control.
* Cooperates closely with the Department of Exports and Marketing at Jamnica d.d.
* Follows market research related to consumer behaviour, buying habits, retail chain shares, sales panels, household panels, price monitoring and monitoring of the sale/marketing activities of the competition.
* Performs other tasks as assigned by his/her immediate superior.
