Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- manages the team of 2 team leaders directly & up to 60 people indirectly,
- direct budget responsibility (revenue approx. 2.5 Mio EUR),
- responsibility for production variance of the org. unit,
- serving for approx. 10 customers in daily service provision contracted for org unit,
- leading designated team of employees within the unit and fulfilling its qualitative, financial and project targets defined by higher management,
- deliver services/solutions to clients in agreed quality and quantity structure according agreed contracts,
- establish and nurture relationships with clients and other stakeholders for effective communication,
- motivate and develop people in own team to be able to deliver better quality and fulfill expectation of employees,
- continuously improve processes and products/services in own area, propose improvements in related areas and implement corporate improvements programs,
- plan, adjust and control financial and other business plans to be able to effectively manage business of own department,
- develop and implement mid-term tactics for new business pipe-in, manage pipe-in on project basis and sign-off take over with process owners,
- operationally manage critical situations and solve business-as-usual escalations to provide seamless operation and effective service to clients,
- prepare and implement departmental tactics for operation of own department,
- actively steer capacity of department resources and quality of results to ensure fulfillment and effective operation,
- approve take-over of services according to standard/processes to have one understanding of quality to be delivered and clear responsibility over delivered services,
- manage contracts with third parties and companies - negotiate terms and conditions to defend interests of company and pursue effectiveness of department,
- people development and motivation, development of leadership competencies of leaders,
- continuous control of department performance and undertaking of improvement measures,
- advises and supports the team leaders with respect to commissioning and cost optimizing,
- transforming the company strategy into the daily tasks of the department,
- organization and distribution of tasks within department,
- rollout, cooperation & supporting activities from higher management…

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and German - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- education - University degree in Technical field or Business administration field
- min. 3 years’ experience in ICT business, min. 2 years out of that in line management position,
- English – fluent AND German – fluent,
- finance and controlling literacy,
- managerial education (degree in business administration),
- people management and development,
- results and tasks orientation
