Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- pro-active and day-to-day monitoring and maintenance of the middleware applications and operating systems,
- analyzes, diagnoses and problem solving in case of faults and disturbances,
- consultation and support to teams carrying out development and third line support,
- performance of the testing as quality check before implementation of the change on live production environment,
- standard working hours: from 6:30 to 18:30 (late & early shifts),
- occasionally work out of standard working hours (e. g. maintenance or changes planned during weekend, on call duty),

- experience with the system administration in a complex environment,
- advanced knowledge of OS Unix/Linux,
- basic understanding of TCP/IP networks,
- knowledge of at least one of the following applications: Apache, Tomcat, MySQL, Nagios, Websphere, MQ Series...
- basic overview about backup and storage environment (SAN, NAS, NFS),
- willingness to learn and understand a new technologies,
- customer oriented and communicative authority, with analytical thinking abilities,
- open to changes and looks on them as an opportunities and enrichments,
- advanced English, German is an advantage,
