Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
* Responsibilities:
* - overseeing the development process, drawing up a development schedule,
* - define technology to be used for development according to customer’s or internal’s specifications, design some concepts
* - quote by himself or externally the cost of each elements related to projects (development, components, process time, tooling, trials…),
* - plan and follow project’s development,
* - analyze and respect all norms suitable for each development,
* - manage documentations related to development,
* - ensuring that the development is cost effective,
* - making sure that development follows up at product standards and quality-control programs,
* - working out the human and material resources needed,
* - monitoring and optimizing the development processes and flows,
* - liaising among different departments, e.g. logistics, planning, maintenance, production, projects, quality, HR…,
* - working with managers to implement the company's policies and goals,
* - ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed,
* - supervising and motivating workers,
* - reviewing the performance of subordinates,
* - identifying training needs.

Personality requirements and skills

* - master degree (Technical - Mechanical Engineering)
* - fluent knowledge of English language, German is an advantage
* - experienced in AUTOMOTIVE LIGHTING BUSINESS is required
* - at least 3 years as a Leader of R&D department in Automotive Company is required
* - knowledge of technical standards, the ability to coordinate a team of people, customer focus, attention to detail, creative thinking, organizational and communication skills, knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA
* - master degree (Technical - Mechanical Engineering)
* - fluent knowledge of English language, German is an advantage
