Pre-Sell Technical Support Specialist

who are we looking for

Soft skills:

• Previous experience in similar position (pre-sell /technical support) is preferred but also graduates from technical universities will be considered
• Customer facing skills both by phone and e-mail (previous experience in a customer facing environment would be an advantage)
• Would need to enjoy working with many cultural differences
• Able to work on his/her own initiative to strict deadlines, act on your own and use your decision making skills

Language Requirements:
• Fluent English (spoken and written)

Technical Skills:
• Experience with ticketing/tracking system (for example Salesforce)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Excellent technical product knowledge in the IT area

Required education

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

what will you do

The Pre-Sell Support Specialist will provide support to country Salespersons in either the public, enterprise or channel sector. The ideal Support Specialist will be a detailed oriented, self-starter possessing the ability to work in a teamed environment supporting a group of sales representatives in their day to day selling efforts.

Reporting to the Sales Enablement Manager, this person will be responsible for the day-to-day success of all outcomes in the following areas:
- Provide product information about product specifications, configuration and compatibility
- Provide information about product availability & product transitions
- Handle technical questions related mainly to hardware, partially to software and peripherals
- Provide information about compliance documents & certificates
- Providing answers to environmental questions
- Advice and guidance to finalize product selection
- Provide Lenovo Certificates
- Provide hardware technical information for tender purposes

Person will interact regularly with our local and world wide Product Management teams and employ your superior communication skills with Sales & Marketing leaders and our technical teams.
