who are we looking for
- Background in Finance/Accounting;
- Minimum 5 years experience within Pricing or Commercial function;
- Server / DCG experience is advantageous;
- Strong business acumen;
- Competent problem solver, innovative thinker;
- Ability to model complex financial deal scenarios (Proficient in Excel, preferable macro skill);
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and deal with ambiguity;
- Good prioritization skills – balance important/non important tasks;
- Detail orientated;
- Ability to work un-supervised;
- Good analytical skill to provide profit predictability to sales.

what will you do
• Conduct quarterly account reviews to optimize pricing/configurations, with the objective of maximizing revenue, margin and customer experience whilst ensuring compliance to contractual commitments – minimum of 5 per month.
• Review product offering with both Sales and Product Managers to ensure Lenovo has a compliant offering whilst maximizing profit through an understanding of component cost environment and future cost projections. Eliminate over configuring!
• Provide the Sales teams with the response to Commercial questions contained in Lenovo’s customer proposals / Tender responses (does not include financial performance information).
• Ensure due diligence around price point setting – price to market and not price to margin.
• Provide detailed analysis of bid data each quarter, considering FX fluctuation, product transition, and application of specific regional strategy. Raw bid data to be provided by reporting analyst / Pricing team.
• Work with Finance, Sales teams to identify new profitable growth and margin recovery initiatives; “Think outside the Box”
