The candidate:
•Must have worked in strategic fast paced talent acquisition for at least 5 years, and be able to demonstrate significant experience of talent acquisition and recruitment
•Excellent people leadership skills, proven minimum of 5 years of people management
•Must have worked in a multi-country environment supporting more than one country, ideally within matrix corporation
•Internet savvy and experienced in social media, brand and networking
•Excellent project management skills, strong business acumen and effective process orientation
•Proven experience in building organizational capability and expertise in recruiting top talent
•Proven track record of effectively influencing and navigating across organizational boundaries and building strong partnerships that produce results
•Professional level of Business English, fluency in other European languages is advantage
•A university degree, ideally within HR or MBA
•Proactive, innovative and problem solving skills
•Collaborative team player
•Excellent time management skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fast paced, dynamic corporate environment
•High energy, drive, with a strongly positive outlook
•Agile learner

The Senior Manager of EMEA Talent Acquisition and Recruitment is tasked with finding, and bringing into Lenovo, the very best people, for the full range of jobs in the Company. Working with a network of the Global HR team and Global line managers, the Leader will create a world-class talent function in EMEA, which delivers outstanding hiring choices at a highly competitive cost.



This position proactively integrates global perspective in the development of strategies, processes, and metrics to unify the Talent Acquisition function in world-wide locations. It brings solutions to increase return on investment and efficiencies across the globe through collaboration with the group and regional HR teams.





Key Tasks:

· Leading a team of 10 Senior Professionals based in Slovakia.

· Select, develop and motivate an engaged talent acquisition team to ensure service deliverables, performance metrics and overall talent needs are met

· Lead and effectively manage performance of the matrix team and collaborate effectively with HR business partners and Functional Leaders to achieve customer objectives

· Build talent pipelines for critical roles and develop recruitment strategies to ensure job openings are filled in a timely and cost effective manner

· Provide strategic team leadership and guidance to deliver high quality candidates and hires across the organization

· Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies for timely delivery of top-quality talent and meet hiring plan deadlines. Owning the EMEA staffing plan, managing and leading all large-scale workforce actions

· Optimize Talent Acquisition expertise and leverage best practice models/process, tools, technology to drive exceptional hiring decisions and Candidate and Hiring Manager experience

· Drive adoption of consistent recruiting, interviewing & hiring practices that drive TA efficiency and productivity

· Deliver high-quality recruiting results based on established metrics to include providing management reports summarizing progress toward recruiting metrics and identifying trends that have an impact on the business

· Determine and establish team resourcing that supports workload and workflow of all functional Talent Acquisition activity

· Serve as an internal consultant to senior leadership to proactively understand staffing needs and develop plans to address. Provide consultative advice and demonstrate the ability to influence outcomes

· Ensure that tools, web-sites and material around recruitment and on-boarding are up to date, fit for purpose, and fully utilised.

· Personally manage executive recruitment, acting as the recruitment partner to EMEA President and other senior executives.

· Manage the budget for talent acquisition and recruitment, wherever possible implementing this as a cost centre with a “per hire” cost recovery model

· As a member of WW TA Leadership team, drive strategic talent acquisition projects on a global level

· Drive Social media / employer branding strategies to increase the engagement of candidates
