EMEA Notebook Product Manager

who are we looking for

- Degree in Marketing and/or Business preferably with a strong analytical discipline
- Minimum of 3 years experience in product management, preferably in IT
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent in English

what will you do

Product Life Cycle (PLC) Management:
- Manages specific platform lifecycles from planning to end of life (EOL)
- Co-ordinates end to end product launches across the region (implements/drives formalized checklists), ensuring successful & timely launches designed to deliver maximum impact, as well as superior inventory management execution (minimizes liability on EOL products)
- Drives consistency in providing product/mix guidance to the geographies on ramp plans, transitions & EOL planning

Product Development:
- Stakeholder in the product development process, with geographies & the Worldwide (WW) Product Group (PG) to ensure the appropriate products for the market
- Exercises superior business acumen in analyzing return on investment levels (ROI) / strategic importance on such projects for prioritizing / decision making purposes.
- Tactical Execution: Proactively conducts market & competitor analysis to identify business opportunities, provide insightful & actionable outputs across products, markets & competitors
- Provides in-depth competitive analysis on a quarterly & ad-hoc basis, including product positioning / SWOT analysis. Delivers Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to the geography sales & marketing teams, on both technology & products
- Provides monthly/quarterly roadmap updates to relevant extended teams.

Pricing:
- Works with the pricing teams to provide appropriate competitor mapping, and associated Price, Features, Value (PFV) analysis input

Planning:
- Develops quarterly & annual financial plans for specific products via advanced analysis & recommendations
- Works with pricing and marketing teams to ensure recommendations are translated to actionable plans

Business Management System:
- Proactively engages with peers & other functional departments on executing programs to achieve goals
