what will you do

The ideal candidate will excel at building relationships with their business partners in HR (Operations and Business facing), Finance and Legal in order to successfully transition benefits strategy development and ongoing management into the benefits COE.

EMEA region includes over 35 countries with a combined headcount of 3,000 plus employees. Benefit programs in the region include supplemental health and welfare programs, defined benefit and defined contribution retirement plans and an array of ancillary benefit and wellness programs, allowances and policies.

Key focus areas for the role:
• Work with Executive Director of Global Benefits and HR business partners to define regional benefit strategy aligned with business objectives, benefits philosophy and culture of the company.
• Develop short and long term benefits roadmap to include key design and administration milestones.
• Partner with Global and Regional broker/consultant to implement effective benefits management processes, including renewal management, benchmarking and administration.
• Understand and influence the benefits budget within the region. Suggest improvements to budgeting process where warranted. Leverage regional and global scale to improve cost structure.
• Provide consulting assistance and oversight to the countries on the design, development, review and implementation of benefits programs.
• Review and approve benefit plan proposals and ensure appropriate management review and proper routing for final approval.
• Assure competitiveness through the ongoing oversight and assessment of benefit programs.
• Maintain function knowledge of benefits offered, plan provisions, costs, market practices and legal requirements.
• Participate in due diligence for acquisitions and divestitures.
• Guide and develop internal staff and manage vendor and consultant relationships
