Business Data Analyst

who are we looking for

• Analytical skills; Business Objects, OBIEE & Superior MS Excel skills (VBA & Macros) skills as a minimum
• Advanced database skills: MS Access, MS SQL, Brio (Hyperion)
• Understanding and or working knowledge of relational databases
• Presentation and interpretation of data, draw conclusions to feedback to business
• Methodical approach to work, and excellent attention to detail
• Takes accountability for completing work assignments with little direction and guidance.
• 2/3 years Supply Chain or reverse logistics experience
• Project management knowledge a plus
• Additional language skills would be an advantage
• Able to multi-task to manage both tactical and strategic work streams relating to area of responsibility.
• Can handle at least one strategic project while working day-to-day tasks.
• Determine milestone, and drive work to meet agreed upon milestone dates.
• Must be able to work independently without close supervision.
• Be able to work under pressure.

what will you do

Lenovo’s Mobile Business Group has ambitious plans to grow its presence in the European, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) Smartphone markets. The EMEA After Sales Team is currently looking for a data analyst to join the group in Bratislava. If you have a passion for working with people, an analytical ability to gather, analyse and interpret supply chain data and experience in supply chain or after sales service, then this is the opportunity for you.

The after sales service team implements and runs OEM warranty services in line with company policy. Using an in depth knowledge of data analysis, communication and operational experience you will support the services team with data to guide operational decision making. A focus of this position is reverse logistics data analysis as it relate to all expenditure. This role will provide all necessary analytics to support the running of a cost effective processes. Stakeholder support is a key part of this role, with communication being strong requirements. You will need a combination of effective communication and analytical skills.
