EMEA Services Operations Data Analyst

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Superior MS Excel skills (VBA & Macros)
• Advanced database skills: MS Access, SQL, MS SQL, Brio (Hyperion)
• Excellent technical skills
• Understanding and or working knowledge of relational databases
• Familiarity with statistical modelling
• Communication Skills (presenting over the phone, taking requirements, having discussions with people abroad)
• Business level English skills both written and verbal

Experience:
• 5-7+ years of experience of creating complex databases, developing reports and analytical models
• Knowledge of Services Operations and Finance would be a big advantage

Behaviour:

• Be able to work under pressure
• Very good organizational skills, including time management and multi-tasking
• Ability to work in a team environment, show enthusiasm to change and adapt accordingly

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
• We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst able to understand end-to-end data feeds, able to create and maintain robust database structure to be able to support different business data, reporting and analysis requests
• Be able to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions
• You will conduct full life-cycle activities to include requirements analysis and design, develop analysis and reporting capabilities, and continuously monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
• Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Work closely with management to understand business needs and investigate data required to satisfy those needs
• Demonstrates consultative skills in the delivery of recommendations, articulation of risks, and provisions for risk mitigation. Makes these recommendations based on data-driven analysis to optimize the success of Lenovo’s business.
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
• Responsible for building & improving insightful & interactive reports as per business requirements with a view to sustainability/repeatability
• Responsible for creating, maintaining & improving internal databases
• Driving improvements in data consistency, quality and security
• Work on tasks/projects as defined by the manager.
• Identify opportunities to streamline & improve process

• Follow all processes and make sure documentation is up to date
