HR Director Eastern Europe (m/f)

Summary: The Director of Human Resources supports regional business strategic objectives by delivering conscientious and professional human resources service to all levels. Serve as a resource for all employees regarding employee relations’ issues. The major areas covered include employment, indoctrination and training, compensation, benefits, organizational planning, employee relations, safety and health, and employee services.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Direct recruitment effort; new-employee orientations; employee relations and exit interviewing.
  • Create programs that support and foster a working environment that adapts to changes and promotes high performance through team and individual employee involvement.
  • Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting Human Resources function.
  • Interface and coordinate with global facilities to ensure continuity of HR systems.
  • Develop and maintain strategic initiatives to support the business objectives set by regional management team.
  • Provide HR leadership and guidance for HR staffs at multiple sites in a geographic region.
  • Develop and maintain effective communications with all sites to ensure adherence for all corporate guidelines; counsel and support site HR staffs and management to provide unilateral consistency among all locations.
  • Implement and maintain Corporate Benefit Programs; analyze region trends and provide competitive coverage.
  • Organize and conduct annual compensation marketing survey for each site.
  • Develop and maintain regional salary administration; manage compensation data to provide adequate titles and grade structures; and provide unilateral consistency among all locations.
  • Develop and maintain Regional Training Programs as dictated by ongoing needs assessments.
  • Attract, develop, train and retain a highly skilled, motivated workforce.
  • Implement and maintain highly effective Corporate Safety Programs.
  • Liaison between site human resources managers and Laird headquarter Human Resources.
  • Adheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.
REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
  • BA degree in Human Resources or related field required.
  • 8+ years experience gained through increasingly responsible management positions within HR.
  • Generalist background with broad knowledge of employment, compensation, employee relations, training and development.Experienced with multiple locations.
