Job description, responsibilities and duties
KPMG in Slovakia is seeking outstanding candidates at graduate level with suitable competencies to help our clients to enhance risk and control management within the corporate marketplace and provide them with advice, assistance and an independent appraisal of the effectiveness of the policies, procedures and standards by which the companies's financial, physical and information resources are managed. The successful candidate will become a valuable member of our Risk Consulting team, specialising in areas including, but not limited to: Internal audits, Business control reviews, Contract compliance reviews, Internal control enhancement and Corporate governance establishment, Forensic investigations, Fraud risk management, Dispute and litigation assistance and Corporate intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Providing engagement support to all senior team members and managers
- Providing insightful analytical inputs for the project
- Reviewing obtained documentation, analysing and mapping business processes, testing existing internal controls, attending meetings with client representatives, collecting evidence, performing media and internet research, etc.
- Producing articulate, well written and detailed working papers on the findings of the work performed
- Assisting in the preparation of reports and other deliverables
- Performing other internal research for the department and summarising key facts, points and trends
- Assisting in the preparation and coordination of surveys, thought leadership development and local initiatives
- Performing other tasks upon the request of your team leader
