Job description, responsibilities and duties
Main objectives
a) Building and maintaining knowledge standards and competence in the complete manufacturing process for one product,
b) Leading in D&Q phase for optimal manufacturing concept,
c) Global manufacturing footprint for one product overview,
d) Financial optimization of manufacturing processes.
Areas of responsibility
a) Setting manufacturing strategy for new products,
b) Participation in all KBD-NPI meetings from CER/Definition phase,
c) Manufacturing part of CC4 responsibility in D&Q phase (labour variable costs optimization; investment evaluation),
d) Validation of D-FMEA,
e) Manufacturing requirements preparation (MIFA, P-FMEA, Poka Yoke list),
f) Equipment, jigs and fixtures production monitoring and commissioning,
g) Competition overview on the new products – benchmarking,
h) Product competitiveness monitoring,
i) KA products and/or process catalogue maintaining,
j) Vertical integration possibilities evaluation,
k) K-Briefs presentations to M-STC for approval,
l) Representing ME in Innovation and R&D,
l) Performing of special projects and other duties as assigned.

a) Visualization of the process,
b) Guidelines, mentoring, coaching, training of local engineering team,
c) Encouragement to continuous improvement of process/procedure/
Instructions / templates,
d) Measuring, monitoring and reporting process/audit/gaps status to M-STC.

b) To define the methods of continuous improvements leading to the world-class status.

a) To develop manufacturing concept (incl. variable costs and investment),
b) To audit the performance of the process within P&C and request countermeasures on deviations,
c) Participate in the development of Manufacturing Engineering strategy,
d) To act independently within the scope of the job description and the current rules of the company.

Personality requirements and skills
A minimum of 15 years of experience within manufacturing or engineering (ideally in both); min. 10 years in automotive injection moulding industry; min 5 years as process engineer of the relevant product.

- Knowledge of relevant quality systems, tools and techniques (ISO9001, ISO/TS, ISO 14001, as well as root cause analysis, QAP, APQP, PPAP, D/P-FMEA, etc...); ISO1101, ASME 1405,
