Job description, responsibilities and duties
An opportunity to join a progressive and growing sheet metal fabrication company. The role is to assist in the growth and professionalise the finance function, giving day to day support to the Business Manager and Management Team. The key requirements of the role are:
The role is full time but a part time applicant may be considered if it is the right candidate.
- Ability to produce accounts up to trial balance stage.
- Experienced in the use of POHODA accounting package or similar.
- Experience in the manufacturing sector an advantage but not essential.
- Responsibility for sales and purchase ledger processing.
- Production and submission of VAT returns.
- Production and submission of payroll and employee returns.
- A good working understanding of HR issues and legal framework.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
