Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Senior Sourcing Specialist would be working remotely (with the perspective of opening local branch in the future), shall select and develop suppliers to reduce overall cost level, improve product quality and thereby contribute to improve the company’s operational performance, profitability and competitiveness in the market.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identification and evaluation and qualification of potential suppliers according to Kitron procedures and customer requirements
• Conduct and manage RFI, RFQ and RFP processes
• Negotiation of terms and conditions
• Facilitate parts and process qualification in accordance to customer or process requirements
• Introduce and approve data required for the procurement of parts
• Handling of non-conformances as needed
• Identify opportunities and implement actions to reduce wasted time, money and resources from assigned tasks
• To continuously monitor risk, improve processes and increase efficiency
• Interface with other process functions when applicable or relevant

Minimum education required

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills:
English - advanced

Personality requirements and skills

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Sourcing Specialist
• Education at relevant university level within supply chain, manufacturing or engineering
• Lack of formal education may be substituted by relevant work experience
• Interpersonal skills including
o High degree of collaboration with others
o Managing changes
o Negotiation
o Presentation
• Experience with ERP systems and in general good computer skills
• Ability to work with challenging deadlines and frequently changing priorities
• Strong English language skills, both oral and written
