Test automation specialist/ DevOps

Tester positions are usually perceived as boring, tends to be focused on manual testing, reporting defects and their opinion is often being considered as the last. The definition of this role in Kistler is different.

The main tasks on this position cover:
1. Setup and maintain the test automation infrastructure
• Virtual machines management (Linux)
• Configuration management
2. Setup and maintain continuous integration pipeline (Jenkins)
3. Development of tools and tests libraries (Python, or similar)
4. Write and maintain test automation scripts (Robot Framework)
5. Active participation on SW development to ensure testability of requirements, usability of UI design, more accurate effort estimations, etc.
