What does the test developer's work in Kistler look like?
You are an important part of a project and cooperate with everyone (project development team, product owner, developers from different projects ... and everyone within the company.) That is because you share your knowledge and ideas with others and learn new things as well. You are not only „testing“ and logging bugs, but you can decide on the problems and changes and see all technical details. You know the case and try to find a solution.
You ask, help, learn, grow, share, decide, initiate, inspire and get inspired (Pycon, Hustef, etc.).
You work in a supportive environment with many challenges where team spirit is a key in everything (you don't eat your birthday cake alone).

Joining our team, you will work on a project with high level of automatization /Python - Robot Framework/. Together with your colleagues, you will participate on testing of frontend and backend of high tech embedded measurement devices, data acquisition and data processing.

The main tasks will cover:
• Define test cases based on requirements and use cases
• Design and implement regression test scripts on integration and system level
• Create and perform automated and manual tests of user interface
• Setup and maintain the test automation infrastructure
• Challenge the system under test in terms of stability, performance, error and failure behavior
• Ensure the effective implementation of tests and testing strategies in collaboration with Software developers, Application Engineers and Product Managers
• Active participation on software development to ensure testability of requirements, usability of user interface design, more accurate effort estimations, etc.
