Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and versatile individual to fill the role of Bookmaker / Business Analyst. This unique position requires a blend of analytical prowess, business acumen, and a keen understanding of betting markets. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing business data, identifying trends, and leveraging insights. Additionally, they will be responsible for setting odds, managing risk, and optimizing betting opportunities.

Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis: Utilize analytical tools and techniques to interpret complex datasets related to betting trends, customer behavior, and market dynamics.

2. Business Insights: Generate actionable insights from data analysis to support strategic decision-making processes, including product development, marketing campaigns.

3. Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with betting activities , and implementing risk strategies.

4. Odds Setting: Utilize statistical models, historical data to set competitive odds across various sports and events.

5. Configuration - setting up market templates, competition oddskey, translations

6. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance.

7. Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of betting strategies and initiatives.

8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements:

1. Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, with the ability to extract actionable insights from large datasets.

2. Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business principles and practices, with the ability to translate data analysis into strategic recommendations.

3. Betting Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the sports betting industry, including betting markets, odds setting, and risk management principles.

4. Communication Skills: communication in Czech and English languages is required, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.

5. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

6. Ethical Standards: Commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting responsible gambling practices.

Education and Experience:

- Min. bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.

- Prior experience in business or data analysis or bookmaking roles within the betting industry is highly desirable.

- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus.
