Keen Software House a.s. is an independent game development studio based in Prague.

We have been very successful in video game business and now we are expanding our interest to the field of artificial intelligence – fulfilling our long-term goal.

We are looking for AI programmers & researchers who will develop a general AI (non-video game related). Our vision is to build an artificial brain that can perceive, learn, and adapt to the environment in the same way as humans do. Our design is inspired by neurocortex (sensory perception, motor commands, learning, hierarchical spatial and temporal memory and reasoning, autonomous decisions, etc.).

This is a long-term (10+ years) privately-funded R&D project. This project is NOT about video game bots, symbolic AI, image or speech recognition, etc. We are aiming to develop a general intelligence.

Requirements:
  • Skilled and experienced programmer: C++ (or C#, CUDA, Assembler,
  • Experience developing and testing ideas
  • Responsible, well organized, having good time management
  • Friendly, curious, creative
  • Intermediate English
  • Location: Prague, Czech Republic

Considered a plus:

  • Interest in neuroscience
  • Knowledge of biologically inspired neurons
  • Knowledge of artificial neural networks
  • Extensive programming skills
  • Experience with low-level hardware-specific optimizations
  • Experience with parallel and distributed computing, GPU acceleration, multi-GPU architectures, super-computing, etc.

Responsibilities

  • You will be working under direct supervision of our CEO
  • Proposing, discussing, testing and implementing ideas
  • Researching and developing experimental AI (already in a concept stage)
  • Optimizing and scaling up
  • Experimenting and fine-tuning
  • Studying AI, robotics and neuroscience literature
  • Working as a part of a R&D team
