Team Lead Accountant

Job specification:

We are hiring Team Lead for our Account to Report team within J&J Global Services in Prague, Czech Republic! The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of accountants, to constantly work on the improvement of processes and to oversee the closing and execution of financial periods.
You can expect to be responsible for a wide range of activities such as:
• To direct, train, supervise, and evaluate direct reports to enhance their performance and development
• To improve processes and quality of services provided to the customer
• To promote end‐to‐end standardized approach
• To oversee timely closing & execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with set commitments
• To take ownership of advanced processes such as Sales Adjustments, analysis and preparation
• To cooperate and collaborate cross departments
• To review and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• To take responsibility for new business transitions and account to report knowledge transfers across the company

We are looking for you, if you have:
• 3 years of experience in a similar job in finance/accounting/customer service environment (Financial Shared Services experience preferred)
• Strong people management skills; experience in managing a team
• Ability to solve difficult situations using own judgment and sense of urgency
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Minimum of Bachelor degree in Economical or Financial field
• Proficient in English (written and oral)
• Proficient in MS Office
• Open and collaborative personality
• You want to relocate to Czech Republic (we are not offering relocation package)
