Lead Accountant- RTR Payroll Accounting

Responsibilities:

+ Leading and developing team of various levels of accountant professionals (clerks, accountants, senior accountants)
+ Managing and motivating team members (i.e. monthly 1 to 1 meetings, evaluations, weekly team meetings, communication, high team spirit)
+ Supporting Payroll accounting team members with daily issues
+ Supporting direct supervisor with solving escalation issues
+ Making sure deadlines are met and priorities are balanced accordingly within month and during month end closings
+ Monitoring daily workload, backlog and issues
+ Encouraging team members in further improvements of internal processes
+ Communication with other departments as well as with internal customers from respective regions within team responsibility

Qualifications:

* Prior leadership experience
* Excellent leadership and managerial skills
* Good accounting knowledge
* Strong Excel knowledge
* SAP knowledge/Oracle knowledge is an advantage
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, result-orientation, responsibility, flexibility
* Managing of stressful situations
* Fluent English,  other languages are advantage
