European Product Manager (VRF/HVAC)

The role:
The European PM manages our VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) portfolio and Commercial Air conditioning Products for commercial and tertiary applications, the main responsibility will be to ensure the success of our Air conditioning and VRF solution in the market. This person will report to the Director of Direct Expansion Europe. The main area to be focused will be Eastern Europe countries.
Role brief:
Market Analysis   - Monitoring of the market trends, general environment and regulation. Benchmark and competition analysis.
Identify our product gaps and build proposals to share with management road maps needed for our solutions and products.
Analysis of customers’ needs and summarize requirements for current and future products, supported by market research and interaction with both customers and channel along with analysis of Sales Targets
Product Development - Prioritization of the development and features to ensure products meet market needs.
Follow our development cycles ensuring we respect lead times, cost and specification target.
Take ownership of the necessary information and documents needed for our sales Channel teams at/prior to any launch. (Technical documentation from factory, Marketing and Sales support tools and documentation).
Sales & Channel Management - Sales enablement own this by sharing all the information need the value proposition, product positioning and messaging etc.  To the sales team including all documents needed to support our Product Launches.
Ownership of European regulation governance including at local country level.
Technical support to the countries, including training.

Essential qualifications/Industry experience:
Master of Business School or engineer with experience of sales or marketing.
Solid industry experience (5+ years’ experience in customer facing role).
Experience of HVAC sectors and products is a plus.
Knowledge of European regulations in the HVAC industry.
