EMEA Procurement Manager (Facilities, Print, Office Supplies, MRO)

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Procurement Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Manages EMEA Facility Management categories that include, real estate, facility services, office supplies, print fulfillment, security, and MRO. providing strategic direction to achieve  measurable financial results 

  • Lead strategic sourcing activities, including but not limited to: spend analysis (benchmarking, supply market analysis, supplier analysis, RFI/RFP building, negotiations, baseline analysis, contracting, outsourcing & offshoring, product lifecycle management, building business cases)

  • Represent JCI’s “single-voice” when leading supplier negotiations, developing appropriate negotiation strategies, strengthening supplier relationships, and providing feedback on supplier performance

  • Lead deep dives on active strategic sourcing initiatives 

  • Engage with suppliers and business partners to ensure supplier integration of user needs, providing feedback on supplier performance

  • Manage internal relationships with key business stakeholders for assigned categories

  • Continually identify leading practices from inside and outside the company for implementation and adoption

  • Participate and lead in innovation sessions and quarterly reviews for strategic suppliers

  • EMEA category management, sourcing experience
  • Advanced Category Management and Strategic Sourcing expertise in the assigned categories or similar complexity category
  • Global working knowledge of competitive procurement processes 
  • Excellent communication skills, including deal structuring and contract negotiation
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to manage multiple projects and work with details as required
  • Able to achieve goals, self-motivate, take initiative and generally operate with minimal supervision
  • Creative and innovative ideas in Facilities Management, Print and or Office Supplies categories
  • Fluent in English. Working knowledge/fluency in German, French and Spanish are a plus
