Tax Analyst

We are looking for a Tax Specialist to become a member of our team that is responsible for the execution of the Corporate Income Tax compliance agenda. This includes calculations of income and deferred taxes under local (national) tax rules and other centralized tax related activities on EMEA level.
 
The Central Tax Compliance Team is responsible for ongoing efforts to standardize and improve tax compliance processes.

Responsibilities:
 

* Prepare corporate income tax returns for Johnson Controls entities within the EMEA region in accordance with legal requirements of the respective countries.
* Support, standardize and optimize the CIT compliance processes handled by the EMEA Central Tax Compliance team, pro-actively identify weaknesses in tax compliance processes and propose solutions.
* Advise on miscellaneous tax compliance issues and assist on ad-hoc tax compliance projects.
* Continuously develop international tax expertise.
* Collaborate with people from different countries and cultural backgrounds and are able to quickly build up and maintain strong relationships with your customers.

* Bachelor's/ Master’s Degree in Finance or Tax
* 1-2 years of relevant tax and/or accounting experience
* Experience with international GAAP (IFRS / US GAAP) concepts
* Fluent business English
* Work experience in a multinational environment
* Any other European language(s) is/ are a plus (mainly Spanish or French)
* ERP systems knowledge (including SAP and Oracle) is an advantage
* Ability to prioritize the work load in order to meet deadlines and business requirements.
* Strong communication skills, both orally and written as well as excellent planning, organization and time management skills.
