Transfer Pricing Documentation Manager

We are looking for a Transfer Pricing Manager to join our Transfer Pricing Team, supporting our Automotive business, based in Bratislava, Slovakia.
 
The Transfer Pricing Manager will directly report to the Senior Manager Transfer Pricing and will have a broad range of transfer pricing responsibilities within our Automotive business, with significant focus on managing the preparation of global transfer pricing documentation.
 
The successful candidate will work closely with a group of peer managers across EMEA and will directly manage 2 senior specialists.
 
Primary responsibilities of the Transfer Pricing Manager:
 
The Transfer Pricing Manager is responsible for the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and analysis regarding inter-company transactions in a manner consistent with regulatory standards including OECD and BEPS initiatives and manages outsourced service providers as required.
 
The Transfer Pricing Manager identifies and implements on-going process improvements within the transfer pricing compliance area to improve efficiency and accuracy. This also includes coordination with various members of the corporate tax department and accounting/finance personnel. In order to excel in the role, the Transfer Pricing Manager builds and maintains excellent relationships with business finance personnel to be able to identify transfer pricing matters and respond to queries. He or she contributes towards the successful completion of corporate income tax audits that include transfer pricing matters.
 
The Transfer Pricing Manager directly manages two Transfer Pricing Specialists, develops them through direct supervision, training, and exposure to skills development work experiences.
Experience, skills and qualifications of the successful candidate:
 
Essential:
* Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or equivalent education and experience. 

* Minimum of 5 years of finance/accounting experience in compliance and data management in industry and/or accountancy practice.

* Experience in financial reporting, financial analysis and cost analysis.

* Excellent oral and written communication in English.

Desirable:
* Professional certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CIA, CMA, and CISA, or similar international certifications.

* Transfer pricing experience is an advantage.

* US GAAP knowledge desirable, other international GAAP (IFRS) and local GAAP knowledge an advantage.

* ERP systems knowledge (including SAP R/3 and Oracle) an advantage.

* Hyperion knowledge (Enterprise/HFM) an advantage.

* Local income tax and VAT knowledge an advantage.

* Excellent organizational and planning skills. 

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access & PowerPoint).
