VAT Specialist

Primary Purpose:

 

This position is involved in all aspectsof  VAT compliance  and is the key support role for the CFS functions.  This position involves preparation of VAT returns, EC sale/purchase lists, Intrastat and other VAT documents,and reconciliation of VAT accounts.  This position also provides support for the Plants - especially related to I/C transactions, Purchasing (Direct & Indirect), AP and AR teams. 

 

Primary Duties:

 

* Preparation of VAT returns, EC sale/purchaselists and Intrastat declarations (EMEA Region)

* Preparation general  ledger VAT accounts  reconciliations

* Preparation of VAT reclaims

* Support for set up of EC business cases

* Support for AP, AR and purchasing teams

*  Support for VAT registrations

* Provides necessary support to internal and external auditors during the audit

* at least Business Academy education or Bachelor's Degree in Economy
* 2-3 years  accounting  or VAT experience
* SAP skills strongly preferable
* MS Office skills
* English fluently
* Romanian fluently
* Computer competency in the client-server environment using a wide range of application software
* Customer orientation
* Familiarity with problem solving and process improvement techniques
* Ability to work well independently and work well in a team setting
