Manager IT Procurement m/f

This position has management responsibility for all aspects of the IT Procurement lifecycle Globally.  This includes purchasing planning, global IT market benchmarks, internal customer (IT community) relationship management, sourcing, negotiations andsupplier relationship management with focus on partnerships.
* Works directly with the key internal customer at all levels within the organization; including Directors ofIT from all Business Units Globally, as well as other key stakeholders, toprioritize projects/work request and confirm scope and budget.

* As Global Purchasing Agent forall Business Units, must advise BU buyers on sourcing strategy and tacticalplans.

* Maintain and supervises contract information and partners spend.

* Conducts benchmarking and overall market assessment to support the development of the procurement strategy, aligned with customer’s requirements and in compliance with globaland regional IT strategies.

* Drives the RFI, RFQ and RFP processes, define evaluation criteria, identify and select suppliers, supportthe evaluation process, refine and validate sourcing and purchasing options.

* Engage into negotiations to achieving best value for JCI.

* Ensures that agreements are prepared with the proper technical, legal and commercial chapters.

* Supervises the awarding procedures, such as requisitions and Purchasing Orders.

* Responsible for Contract Portfolio Management.

* Works closely with the regional IT Procurement leaders to ensure that regional IT Procurement strategy and adoption of best practices are aligned with Global Strategy. 

* Bachelor's level degree (Majoror minor in IT arena desirable). 

* A minimum of 15 years of work experience, 10 to 7 years with strong experience in purchasing IT Hardware, Software and Services and a minimum of 3 years' experience as a first line supervisor in a purchasing department.

* Must have experience working in major Corporations with global activities.

* Must have several years of procurement experience in the PC and Server hardware commodity on a global basis.

* Must have several years experience in leasing and global financial instruments in support of acentralized procurement approach with distributed delivery models. 

* Must have extensive exposure to Global IT sourcing activities.

* Competently in local language and business English.
