Finance Analyst

Purpose: 

The key responsibility of the Financial Analyst position is to provide excellent financial support to the Regional account leadership (Finance Account Lead and their operational teams), through added value financial analysis & toprovide a valued input to the operational team. The implementation and development of best in class client Management Information to meet strict requirements and deadlines will be a key deliverable of the contract.

 

Key Accountabilities:
* Provide direct financial support & expertise to support the Finance Account Lead in providing best in class Management Information to both Client and JCI management
* Provide added value financial commentary to support regular, standard financial reports
* Working closely with Finance Account Lead to implement baseline and savings tracking reporting and analysis
* Working closely with operations and commercial team to identify all possible savings opportunities and ensure that Barclays and JCI financial targets are achieved.
* Support collation of monthly billings and accruals to CRES finance team.
* Ensure strong internal control environment with full adherence to SoX requirements.
* Develop strong relationships with CRES finance Team and continually exceed their expectations around financial reporting.
* Support compilation of annual budgets & quarterly forecasts for both Client and JCI.
* Provide ad-hoc support and financial analysis to Finance Account Lead as required
* Ensure end-to-end finance procedures are adhered to by operations team, and take corrective action / escalate where required.
* Work closely with JCI central functions such as Accounts Payable and IT systems support teams to ensure alignment and awareness of specific Client requirements.
* Qualified/finalist accountant with extensive experience in the area of financial reporting & analysis.

* Excellent IT Skills with extensive exposure to accounting packages, excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel (to include lookups & pivot tables).

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and able to communicate with people at all levels across the account and develop effective relationships at all levels

* Experience of working in an environment where delivering financial information within tight timescales is a pre-requisite

* Self motivated, reliable &flexible team player, and able to work on own initiative.

* Open and honest with high standards of personal integrity
