Tooling Engineer (Senior Cost Analyst)
- Prepares cost data for Injection molding tooling for plastic parts and interior components
- Develops manufacturing process & cost data (machine hourly rates)
- Assists with various strategy business cost exercises
- Provides pricing guidance in addition to cost calculations
- Establish regular technical/cost direction for manufacture ability or design concepts in engineering development center
- Supports purchasing / sales negotiations, benchmarking activities and promotes „best practice“ solutions
- Works as responsible champion in own area interfacing with other departments
- University or Higher education in technical/industrial field
- Knowledge of Injection molding (IM) technology, IM tooling design and construction, plastic materials - resins
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Knowledge of other production technologies in automovive industry
- Min. 2 years of experience in manufacturing environment
- Very good level of English langauge
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to cooperate with people of different levels inside/outside the company
