Quality Engineer AQE (BU)

To ensure suppliers under his responsibility achieves JC quality standards for sourcing purposes,  APQP requirements for new program activities and required quality level for FY and serial production. Ensure effective communication between JC and the supplier.
 
PHASE 1:

• Input/communication with suppliers on customer requirements for new launches
• Sign off the Quality Management Agreement

PHASE 2:

• Conduct the supplier risk assessment and be part of the kick off meeting
• Manage APQP and track tool timing, reporting via e-tools (workbooks, etc), link with customer BU’s and PG’s via PM, raising red flags about changes and delays in JC programs
• Perform PSO, PSMLC and Capacity analysis
• Sign off PPAP’s
• Be proactive in ensuring that Suppliers achieves 0-100-30 Launch objectives
• Responsible for implementation and effectiveness of launch containment

PHASE 3:

• Support on site PPSC closing
• Support implementation of “Global Supplier Rating” and supplier evaluation for launch support
• Analysis of monthly consolidated PPM data, implementation of corrective actions and escalation via MQR system (plant input)
• Responsible for Supplier Quality Improvement Roadmaps (CI)
• Support supplier change requests
