Tax Specialist with Romanian language

Primary Purpose:
·          Preparation of statutory tax calculations, income tax returns, calculations of current and deferred taxes under US GAAP rules and other compliance related data analysis for group legal entities in EMEA.
 
Primary Duties:
·         Gathering of relevant statutory financial information and preparation of statutory tax calculations in accordance with legal requirements of respective countries
·         Preparation of income tax returns in accordance with process descriptions
·         Preparation of Return to Provision true up calculations
·         Preparation of current and deferred income tax calculations under US GAAP rules
·          Handling of account reconciliations and monitoring of movements on income tax accounts
·         Handling and monitoring of income tax payments
·         Maintenance of compliance status tracking
·         Optimization of compliance processes

·         Bachelor's/ Master’s Degree in Finance or Tax with focus on tax
·         At least 2 years of relevant tax experience required and/or accounting/bookkeeping experience
·         Ideally at least basic understanding of more than one income tax systems in EMEA, engagement to explore compliance related aspects of countries in EMEA region
·         Local GAAP and international GAAP (IFRS) knowledge
·         U.S. GAAP knowledge
·         ERP systems knowledge (including SAP R/3 and Oracle) is an advantage
·         Hyperion knowledge (Enterprise/HFM) is an advantage 
·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access &   PowerPoint),
·         Excellent oral and written communication, organizational and planning skills.
·         Strong English and Romanian language skills
·         Strong ability to cooperate with people from different countries and cultural backgrounds
