Trade Compliance Manager (Europe)

For our important client, american multinational company, we are looking for a suitable candidate for the position of TRADE COMPLIANCE MANAGER.

Based in Prague, the position is newly opened to the european market, reporting directly to the blobal compliance manager in the USA. The candidate will play the key role in the trade compliance program and will coordinate customs activities among various companie´s businessess operating in the EMEA region.

The main responsibilities:

-mapping the current situation of the EMEA subsidiaries and plants
- establish and maintain a complex trade compliance strategy in cooperation with other departments such as logistics, production and supply chain
-facilitates development and improvement of processes with consideration to product classifications, duty rates, tax issues, drawback, and knowledge of preferentialtreatements to minimize rick, maximize opportunity
- active communication with local branches and plants and their managers, as well as communication with local authorities
-manage the import/export logictics business and trade processes
- provides expert status of EU Import/Export costums regulations
