Job description, responsibilities and duties
1. Ensuring manufacturing control at point of manufacture
2. Support Quality technician on each shift
3. Lead Problem Solving activities & compile 8D Corrective Action Reports
4. Analysis of measurement data to establish further actions with Engineering team.
5. Carry out Courtesy visits to customer location/customer liaison.
6. Maintain documented Quality System (updating documents etc)
7. CMM Programming in CAMIO Software
8. Initial Sample Inspection Reports (PSW’s)
9. Capability Study Measurements
10. Gauge R & R Studies
11. General Measurements for production processes
12. Production 1st offs as required
13. Carrying out Internal Calibration of Checking Fixtures, equipment etc.
14. Observe Company Health and Safety Regulations whilst carrying out your duties.
15. Communicate at all levels within the company.
16. Work in a team working environment.
17. Liaise with Quality Manager on tasks for the day.
18. Any other reasonable task deemed to be within your capability
