Facility and project engineer

We have an exciting opportunity to work for a new automotive Company in the Nitra region. We are hiring for the position of Facility and Project Engineer.
The purpose of this role is to drive personally improvements to all elements of the production system, SQDCPE. Improvements will be achieved through the development and control of robust processes of Paint Operations as well as driving continuous improvements through the use of data driven problem solving methodologies.
Main Responsibilities:

• Support development and maintenance of Control Plans and associated paperwork within processes in Ecoat Primer Sanding and polishing processes
• Support development, maintenance and improvement of processes where are used cloths, textiles , curtains and process materials for reducing dirt on car surface or in the paintshop. Support dirt management team to decrease paint defects in the paintshop.
• Provide technical and process support for spareparts management in paintshop.
• Provide technical and process support in Tooling processes also communicate with BIW and T&F and logistic contractor. Manage and improve lifecycle and grid cleaning processes. Interact with suppliers to increase effectivity.
• Manage Auto CAD drawings and make technical improvements hand in hand with production and maintenance
• Support development, successful implementation and ongoing compliance / improvement of MQOS (Manufacturing Quality Operating Standard)
• Responsible for all Process Documentation
• Approval and collect CoA (Certificate of Acceptance) of materials
• Provide technical and process support to manufacturing, support trainings.
• Implement and maintain key process measurements to support improvement projects.
• Support line trials and permanent process changes.
• Interact closely with the suppliers of material improvements in terms of quality / cost etc.
• Liaise with service team to support quality measurements.
• Quality of Incoming sanding, polishing materials, consumption material.
• Make steps to improve surface quality and appearance. Communicate with process engineers and paint suppliers to set up optimal polishing and sanding processes.
• Support Quality and Environmental Leader with vehicle specific quality issues.
• Drive Process, Facility and Quality improvement initiatives and projects.
• Support for internal and external plant audit and assessment as required.

Requirements:

• 3 + years of proven in paint processes
• Ability to analyse the needs of both internal and external customers
• Have the ability to visualise and explain the current status
• Self-starter with the confidence and ability to work on own initiative
• Enthusiastic, with the motivation to achieve goals
• Technical oriented
• Knowledge and experience of GSPAS, QPS & WES
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word AutoCAD or Solidedge or Catia
• English language – communication skills
