The JLR Roadside Assistance service provide a level of detail to the Plant Vehicle Teams regarding numbers and high level failure modes affecting the JLR carlines. It is vital that each occurrence is understood, to drive for root cause, so that containment and permanent corrective actions can be urgently put in place to protect customers and vehicles from the failure modes.

• Technical liasion between JLR personnel, RSA Technicians and Call Centres in identifying and progress chasing every Roadside Assist vehicle to actual root cause and prevent recurrence actions
• Technical liasion between Service Dept, Customer Relationship Centre and Dealers reference root causes of Re-Acquired Vehicels
• Establish course of actions to understand root cause
• Robust and timely documentation against symptom and root cause investigations
• Dealer visits and tehnical requirements of vehicles
• Assist in managing Vehicle Line quality target achievability
