Lean Leader

We have a great opportunity to work for a new automotive Company in the Nitra region. We are hiring for the position of Integrated Production System Leader. The purpose of this role would would be a key interface with all areas of Plant Nitra Operations. Responsibility for supporting and leading aspects of IPS at all levels of the organisation within Plant .

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop a lean manufacturing training program for all new recruits to Plant Nitra and carry out induction workshops
• Lead, guide and develop a matrix organisation of embedded Integrated Production System element champions to deliver lean principles to all production areas through area reps in accordance with the Integrated Production system.
• Liaise with lead roles across all UK plants to Define, Develop & Deliver the Lean Integrated Production System(IPS)
• Guide and coach all levels of the plant organisation (plant Ops team through to operator) in the operation of the Integrated Production System. Maintain and Develop the Nitra Integrated Production System web
• Support standard IPS activity within the plant to identify improvement (kaizen) opportunities and support where necessary the development of the improvements.
• Liaise with the training team on the development of interactive training for Group Leaders, Product Coaches etc. on Lean Manufacturing tools and Culture.
• Facilitate annual Plant Nitra ISR audit in conjunction with other Plant IPS Leaders
• Facilitate plant Waste walks and nerve centre reviews to maintain “Go look See”/Gemba approach and supportive culture.
• Carry out benchmarking activities both internal and external to generate best practice through to implementation
• Aid in the development and delivery of Industry innovations across technology’s / plant

Requirements:

• 3 Years of automotive Lean Manufacturing Management experience
• Degree in a Manufacturing related subject
• Ability to tackle complex issues in a high pressure environment
• The ability to create and maintain strong relationships with all areas and levels of manufacturing and across

• Experience of working within a large diverse team
• Willingness to travel
• English at communicative level
