We are hiring Current Manufacturing Engineer within our Body in White Current Manufacturing Team. This role covers a complex set of objectives and you’ll manage and lead a team to deliver against some of our key targets around, Safety, Quality Delivery and Cost.
Main responsibilities:
Providing production support on a daily basis to maintain volume, delivery and quality targets.
Supporting production to deliver quality improvements and reduce warranty costs
Supporting our Quality Standards team to create and deliver an integrated approach to improved product sustainability and delivery of related systems strategies
Improving the dimensional stability of Body in White (BiW) assemblies
Ensuring that processes are maintained through company software and to ensure all changes are introduced through manage the change process
Conducting weekly process audits in compliance with manufacturing quality operating standards requirements
Supporting the manufacturing teams with hours per car and cost reduction kaizen activities as required
Supporting other subsystems to achieve vehicle quality targets
Adherence of Jaguar Land Rover standards and procedures
Supporting layout activities and keeping actual layout up to date

Požiadavky
- 2+ years of combined career experience as a process engineer, and as a hands-on mechanical/manufacturing/ design engineer
- Conversant with CAD Engineering systems as well as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Understanding of Statistical Process control, Pp, Ppk, control plans and SC/CC's
- Good understanding of engineering processes
- Ability to interrogate and interpret dimensional data
- Demonstrable Experience in the application of a logical approach to Problem Solving
- Proficient in managing risk assessments, FMEAs, control and reaction plans for industrial automation equipment using safety standards
- Flexible, Resilient, Self-Motivated & Confident Team Player with integrity and discipline. Responsibility and independency
- Able to form good working relationships at all levels within the organisation
