We have an exciting opportunity to work for a new automotive Company in the Nitra region. We are hiring for the position of ROBOTICS ENGINEER.
The successful candidate will be key to support the design of the newly developed production systems and will thereafter support daily production in regard to the line Robotic systems. He/ she will also support to the T&F Technicians in fault finding Robotic based.
This role reports directly to the Senior Control Engineer.

  • Support and ensure that the robot software is constructed in line with the JLR standards
  • Ensure that the Robot documentation is supplied, updated and held in a lockable area.
  • Ensure Technicians are fully trained and supported in programming of Robots and fault recovery
  • Manage the robot end effectors and ensure that they are fully integrated into the robot.
  • Manage the creation and on-going management of the software programs
  • Provide support to the Production team in reducing the process time and improve through put.
  • Manage Data for robots and liase with robot supplier route cause and improvements
  • Be the local specialist on robot technology
  • Be the local Specialist for the robot axis 6 devices
  • Develop and run robot basic training courses
  • This role is a Shift based role during Production

Požiadavky

  • Completion of college diploma or university degree in: / Robotic Engineering on a Bs or Ms level, ideally in an Automotive Manufacturing Technical Field with a preference to a Background with a Time served engineering apprenticeship or; Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Automotive/High speed robotics automation
  • Broad knowledge of designing, programming and maintaining robotics equipment, both - Hardware and software. Understanding requirements for complex processing equipment for welding, dispensing, inline measurement systems and inspection
  • Flexibility in working patterns and approaches to achieve overall business goals
  • Ability to generate and teach robot systems. Liaise with local schools in developing teaching courses
  • In depth knowledge of Safety standards to be able to create risk assessments for industrial automation equipment
  • Strong people management
  • Pro-active strength of debugging and resolving key constraints, effective problem solving & root cause analysis using adequate toolsets
  • Experience of specifying and installing new automation to realise productivity targets
  • Develop strong effective working relationships with key customers, supplier companies and adjacent departments
  • Sk Technical Regulation 508/2009 Section 22
  • Pride, analytical ability, organizational skills and attention to detail and ability to take tremendous responsibility

  • Good knowledge of Google & MS Office Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word and Project)
  • Proficient English and Slovakian language skills
