We have an exciting opportunity to work for a new automotive Company in the Nitra region. We are hiring for the position of Production Control Senior Leader. The purpose of the job is to lead planning, implementation and operation of a scheduling operation for Jaguar Land Rover products.

Main Responsibilities:

• Planning and setup of the plant processes and scheduling activity cross functionally to ensure that the plant becomes the benchmark for vehicle and material scheduling operations.
• Planning development and management of Nitra plant in conjunction with MP&L Vehicle Planning & Scheduling and Slovakian Manufacturing areas. Planning of build schedules for all areas of Production (Body, Paint and Trim & Final).
• Develop the role of MP&L build to sequence champion. Actively develop and drive Plant scorecard metrics through development and facilitation to improve key metrics (including OPR, Customer Commitment, Build On Day, and Build to Sequence).
• Agreeing and managing restrictions and build constraints with Plant Manufacturing and MP& L Programming.
• Monitoring and reporting plant performance (Internally and Externally).
• Liaising with Launch functions to assist in Pre job 1 build phases & Launch activities (Launch, balance out, rate of climb).
• Planning manufacture & shipping of service parts and after market service.
• Developing and monitoring key performance metrics to support both work group level operation and higher management reporting.
• Analysing key performance metrics. Monitoring worsening trends, repeat issues and poor performance indicators. React in a timely manner to all issues with appropriate containment action. Identify root cause and drive permanent solutions.
• Ensuring SAP schedules are in line with operating plan, working with Supply Chain to optimize call-in and Plant Inventory levels Scheduling.

Requirements:

• Min.4-6 years of experience in Production Scheduling, Sequencing and Control in Automotive OEM
• Good knowledge of manufacturing and logistics processes
• Advanced knowledge of OEM Plant processes and standards in Vehicle scheduling / constraints management experience
• Ability to drive processes and solutions and lead their implementation
• General knowledge of vehicle manufacturing, manufacturing engineering and industry standards
• Good knowledge in Lean Manufacturing and Lean Logistics
• Ability to work independently. Task orientation. Self-starter attitude and a continuous improvement mind set.
• MFG IT Application knowledge: ERP, WMS, SAP APO, MES
• Proficient in English – verbal and written
