Popis práce

  • Accountability for the delivery of launch build phases, both in UK and in Slovakia, in order to deliver a flawless product launch via the Launch Quality Operating System. Manage exceptions and containments during build phases.
  • Drive activities with PD (Product Design), AME (Advanced Manufacturing Engineering) and MP&L (Material Planning and Logistics) to ensure all future products and process requirements are in line with World Class Factory targets.
  • Plan and manage the workload of your team in line with the departmental scorecard and actively drive the team to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Develop and take accountability for Budget and Timing plans for Launch.
  • Manage critical project gateway reviews.
  • Organise and facilitate Launch Reviews during build phases.
  • Co-ordinate the recruitment, training and supervision of Product Coaches and Technical Coaches.
  • Develop a benchmarking strategy for People, Plant, Processes and Products to allow the new factory to “Be the benchmark,” developing and rolling out Lessons Implemented program for best practice.
  • Support World Class operator training and facilities and activities in territory.
  • Lead and develop a strong mentality in your team for all aspects of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale and Environment. Lead Safety First and Customer Focus mind set within the team.

Požiadavky

  • Strong level of reading, written and spoken English
  • Experience of Automotive BIW Manufacturing operations.
  • Knowledge of GD&T setup for complex assemblies – datum strategy, locator strategy etc…
  • Understanding of Aluminium Joining Processes
  • Working knowledge of process control, control plans, FMEA.
  • Ability to work off site at alternative locations, including overseas for periods of 4-12 weeks during launch phases
  • Strong proven record of leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels via reports, presentations and workgroup briefings
  • Self-motivated with a “can-do” attitude, and ability to work unsupervised, often to tight deadlines
  • Experience of implementing Lean Manufacturing techniques and working practices, continually striving for continuous improvement
  • Good experience of working with computers and IT, especially Microsoft Office applications and Googlemail
  • Knowledge of procedures regarding safety and ergonomics
  • Ability to be flexible with working hours, shifts and overtime
