Developer

Goal
• We are looking for a developer who is familiar with both independent and team work, should you be managing your own project or participating in an existing one.
• Sharing your analyzing, deductive and reasoning aptitudes will be an important part of your tasks.
• Your communication skills along with your documentation skills will be highly solicited.
• You will be one of the assets between the technical development world and the rest of your colleagues.
• By developing and conceiving various applications, most of your assignments will be aimed at improving productivity of the internal business processes and help expand the company range of activities.

Research
• Be it for new projects or for existing ones, we are looking for someone who is able to perform efficient research and who is able to take the right technical decisions.
• Staying up-to-date with recent technologies and methodologies in software engineering should be looked for.

Profile
• Background and/or experiences equivalent to information technology higher education, specialized in software engineering.

Technical Competencies
• A high level in software engineering and adaptation to technologies used in the company will be required.
• Advanced knowledge of object-oriented languages. Java is preferred.
• Good use of common web languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP…).
• Ability to structure various data types via different technologies (XML, JSON…).
• A great knowledge in SQL environments is highly recommended. Microsoft SQL (Transact-SQL, Stored Procedures…) would be a plus.
• Global comprehension of databases architectures and its tools.

Additional Competencies
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• An overall knowledge of the Java environment and its tools.
• The ability to work with HTML5, CSS3 and most known JavaScript libraries.
• Interest in developing web-based applications.
• Experiences using frameworks like Wicket, Hibernate and Spring would be welcomed.
• Some insight about Regular Expressions and versioning control mechanisms.
• Some years of experience in the localization field are a plus.
