Job description, responsibilities and duties

Itera’s office in Bratislava is looking for .NET Development Senior or Tech Lead who has solid knowledge and experience in full stack of .NET development to start new engagements with customers and extend the existing ones (primarily from Nordic region). Qualified candidate will play Lead Developer and System Architect roles in projects; has to be proactive, fast learning person which can quickly grasp technical and business aspects of targeted domain areas. Short-term business trips within Europe should be expected.

Tasks and responsibilities:
• Lead development of a solution/component
• Be involved in presales activities (tech proposal development, estimation, presentation)
• Play key technical role in engagement of new customers: initial work scoping, PoC, development teams set up
• Ensure architectural consistency of proposed solutions/technologies and do architectural supervision
• Keep up with innovative technologies, current industry trends and best practices

Personality requirements and skills

Professional requirements:
• At least 5-7 years of experience with .NET software development (both front-end and back-end)
• Advanced object-oriented programming
• Different DBMS experiences with MS SQL/T-SQL skills
• Experience in test frameworks, unit-testing, continuous integration
• Expertise in enterprise architecture, integration, design and development patterns
• Functional/system analysis experience
• Experience in full life cycle of software development processes (including Agile)
• Experience of work in distributed team/environment with direct communication with customers

Would be considered as a plus:
• Experience with additional technologies supporting primary stack (.Net)
• Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Bamboo, Confluence, Crucible)
• Experience of leading the teams
• Knowledge of Insurance, Banking, Finance domains
• Knowledge of Nordic culture
