Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for people with senior /lead experience
who will be working on project focused for the one of the largest insurance company in Norway:
• work on one or several projects for Scandinavian-based customers
• all projects will require strong competence in SharePoint and will require good communication skills
• you must be able to listen to customer’s problem and advise some solution
• you’ll be working on requirements, estimates and plans yourself, and your colleagues – Coordinators, Testers – will help you make that work effectively and agree plans with customer
• visits to Scandinavia (Norway, Denmark, Sweden) may be needed from time to time to perform your work with other project members and to establish personal connections

• Knowledge of MS SQL – designing and tuning databases, queries
• Good knowledge of C#/.Net
• Understanding of software product lifecycle, quality assurance approaches
• Practical experience with requirements, estimation, acceptance criteria, planning
• At least intermediate level of English
• at least 3 year in IT, depends on seniority
Optional requirements – would be a plus:
• Knowledge of ASP.NET, REST
. Experience working in distributed team, with remote customers
• Strong understanding of Scrum, XP, project management practices
• Practical experience with unit- and functional tests, continuous integration, code reviews
• Practical experience with other platforms – Javascript, PHP, Ruby, Python, etc.
Personal requirements:
• Good communication skills – you must be able to find out what customer wants when there is no clear description
• Ability to travel abroad – Scandinavia
• Ability to work productively without supervision and in constantly changing environment
