We are looking for a Senior Machine Application Test Engineer to join our newest collaboration. Work with one of the biggest construction equipment manufacturers in the world!
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Machine Application Test Engineer, you will be a strong support to the application development teams and play a vital role in meeting the company's quality expectations and standards. You will also be part of the verification and validation team.
- Design and implementation of modular test concepts for machine application and control software
- Requirement review and analysis as well as derivation of verification criteria for system and software tests
- Structuring of functional requirements in the context of test analysis
- Derivation and specification of test cases and test data
- Generation of test plans and tests and automation on the target platform
- Creation of detailed error/failure descriptions
- Close cooperation with the system- and application development departments
- Continuous process and test optimization
- Contribution to the development of tools for validation, verification and integration

Personality requirements and skills
- University degree in the field of computer science, computer or electrical engineering or comparable qualification
- Previous work experience as a test engineer and profound knowledge of agile development processes in an industrial automotive environment
- ISTQB CTFL or IREB CPRE desired
- Knowledge of automotive bus systems (e.g. CAN, LIN, BroadR-Reach, etc.) and communication protocols (e.g. J1939, CANopen, etc.) advantageous
- General system understanding of machine functions with hydraulics, electronics, software advantageous
- Basic knowledge in electrical engineering (e.g. control units, sensor technology, etc.) is a plus
- Analytical thinking and fast comprehension with good problem-solving skills
- Team player with independent and systematic working method
