We are hiring both - Frontend and Backend Developers for our client!
Backend:
Tasks
• Building our core products and tools, including: data storage, computational jobs, KPIs, reports and machine learning algorithms
• Constant improvements of your skills and the quality of our products
• Patching past deployments and helping with upgrades
Requirements
• Passion and drive to create the highest quality software
• Very strong general programming skills
• Experience with Python programming and Linux
• Experience with Django
• Experience with Javascript, HTML5, CSS3
• Experience with GIT and branching
• SQL/databases in general
• Understanding that tests and documentation are important
Additionally, the following are plusses:
• Academic degree in Computer Science or similar
• Software architecure/design, with a strong focus on practical aspects
• Anything relating to ships
• Mathematical modelling or optimization
Frontend:
Tasks
• Contribute to and specify UX/UI designs
•
• Transform designs into working GUI
• Improve existing GUIs
• Plan and implement overall UX of our products
• Monitor and gather users' needs and behaviours
• Work with the team to help them understand and implement what users need
Requirements
• Motivated and passionate about front-end and UX
• Strong general programming skills
• Absolute superiority in Javascript, HTML5, CSS3
• Experience with front-end frameworks (Foundation, jQuery, Bootstrap, AngularJS, etc.)
• Experience with data visualisation
• Experience with UX planning
• Necessary graphical skills to operate with prepared designs and turn them into a working UI (Sketch, Photoshop, etc.)
• Experience in working with REST APIs
• Good at and happy with teamwork, including pair programming
Additionally, the following are plusses:
• Basics of Python programming and Django
• Experience with GIT
• Anything relating to ships
• Mathematical modelling or optimization
